The product

What goes in. What comes out.

Patterns combines two sources of information your organization provides — short questionnaires on each of the five spheres, and the documents you already have — to build a connected picture of how work really works. The analysis is science-backed: validated instruments, cross-checked data and expert review, described below.

Input 1

Questionnaires

One per sphere, 5–8 minutes each, answered by employees, managers and HR.

Input 2

Documents

Org charts, policies, process maps and existing data, uploaded securely.

Output

Diagnosis & action plan

Connected insights and prioritized improvements, reviewed with experts.

Input 1 · Questionnaires

One questionnaire for each sphere.

Each sphere has its own short questionnaire, sent to the people best placed to answer it. Answers are anonymous and only ever shown in aggregate.

Environment

Employees · Facilities lead · ~6 min

Example questions

  1. Q1How easy is it to concentrate in the spaces where you usually work? (1–5)
  2. Q2How often are you interrupted by noise or movement during a typical day?
  3. Q3Rate lighting, temperature and ergonomics of your main workstation.
  4. Q4Where do you work during a typical week? (office / home / hybrid split)

Input 2 · Documents

The documents you already have.

Your team uploads existing material to a secure space. Patterns reads it alongside the questionnaire answers, so it can compare how work is designed on paper with how people actually experience it.

Our method · Science-backed

An analysis grounded in organizational science.

Patterns is not a gut-feeling audit. Every questionnaire, every analytical step and every recommendation follows a method rooted in published research on how organizations actually function — and every finding we deliver can be traced back to the evidence behind it.

01

Validated instruments

Questionnaires are built from established, peer-reviewed scales in organizational psychology and workplace research, shortened so they take minutes, not hours, to answer.

02

Multi-source triangulation

No insight rests on a single source. What people report is cross-checked against the documents and structures you provide before it becomes a finding.

03

Statistical safeguards

Results are aggregated by team or site, never by individual, and groups smaller than five are merged so every reported pattern is statistically meaningful.

04

Expert validation

Before anything reaches you, organizational experts review the analysis, test the findings against your context, and set aside anything that doesn't hold up.
